CAMERA AND PHONE POLICY

Cameras will not be allowed during tournament play, Thursday-Sunday.

Cameras are permitted Wednesday during the Official Pro-Am.

Cell phones are permitted but must be kept on silent and may only be used in the designated cell phone areas. Anyone found to be taking pictures or video with their phones during competition rounds will be asked to leave.

 

AUTOGRAPH POLICY

The LPGA Tour allows for players to sign autographs prior to and after finishing tournament play. We ask that fans help maintain a comfortable environment for our players by refraining from asking for autographs or pictures except during these established time periods.

 

HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES

Wheelchair accessible restroom facilities are located near the clubhouse and are labeled on tournament maps.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS (*All bags subject to search)

• Animals (service animals allowed)

• Bicycles or scooters

• Cameras or video cameras after Wednesday

• Coolers and picnic baskets

• Firearms or explosive devices

• Outside food and beverage

• Radios or TV’s

• Stepladders or stepstools

Please ensure that all mobile devices are silenced

 

WEATHER

Average weather temperatures range from highs of 80 degrees to lows of 60 degrees.

 

SEVERE WEATHER WARNING POLICY

In the event of thunderstorms, lightning, or other severe weather, warning information will be displayed prominently on the electronic scoreboards around the golf course. When warnings are posted, spectators are advised to seek shelter even if play has not suspended. If the siren sounds suspending play, seek shelter immediately! Scoreboards will note length of play suspension.

 

SAFETY

For your personal safety, we ask that you exercise due care at all times. Also, please be reminded that under wet conditions the grounds may become slippery and appropriate precautions should be observed.

 

SPECTATOR TIPS

• Drink plenty of fluids, wear headgear and sunblock for protection against the sun.

• Wear comfortable, soft-soled sport shoes or tennis shoes. Do NOT wear golf spikes.

• Wear weather-appropriate clothing. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.

• Watch your step! A golf course is a natural venue. Be aware of roots and uneven ground. Also, be alert for television cables.

• Be aware of what is happening around you, even the best golfers miss the fairway on occasion.

 

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets are available for purchase online  or at the entrance gates during tournament week. No exchanges or refunds – all sales are final.

Credentials must be displayed at all times; spectators without visible credentials are not allowed on tournament grounds. The Tournament is not responsible for credentials that are lost or stolen.

 

TICKET POLICY

Children Policy: Children 18 years of age and younger will be admitted into the Tournament Grounds with an accompanying ticketed adult. Each ticketed adult will be permitted four (4) children admissions daily at no additional charge. Children tickets will be picked-up onsite at the Will Call Office at the Tournament entrance on the day of admission. Note: A children ticket will not provide access into the any hospitality area at the 2015 Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout.

Military Policy: To honor the men and women who serve our country in the armed forces, the Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout is pleased to offer Active Duty, Retirees, Active Reserve, National Guard, DoD Civilians and their accompanying spouse complimentary Daily Grounds tickets. Upon arrival, Military personnel must go to the Admissions and Will Call Office to present their Military ID (spouse must present Dependent ID) in exchange for Daily Grounds tickets. IDs must be presented in order to receive Daily Grounds tickets.

WILL CALL

Will Call will be located at the main admission gate. You must park in public parking and take the shuttle to the main gate. Proper photo identification is required for tournament credentials to be released.
